In case you thought i died in denmark, no. It’s the mugging bug spreading from Singapore to Denmark. Haha. Exams are like next week. It’s a GG to me.
Clever me steamed myself ytd (fri). Was trying to pick up potatoes that flew to the stove. Got scalded by steam coming out from an adjacent pot. Very smart. (Y). My excuse: The kitchen is too dark for me to see the steam -.-

Cleared quite a bit of my food on that day cos I was going to Amsterdam for a few days. Forced myself to swallow my maize and tomatoes. Haha, there were like 6 tomatoes. Sliced them up and baked on top of white bread. It was yummyyy. Baked tomatoes taste really nice. No more charring. (:
I learned that trains are freaking long -.- We walked past about 10 carriages to get to ours at Kobenhavn H station -.- It was freaking far. I think we spent almost 10 minutes getting there -.-

Clever me cut myself while washing a fork that I didn’t use -.- The fork was freaking sharp. No idea how it poked into my index finger.
Had my second attempt at bread puddingz. Now with a more custardy and sinful -.- recipe. Estimated the tray size wrongly. Had to transfer to a smaller tray. Haha. But everything turned out yummy (: Better than the first try.

Going to amsterdam for a weekend trip on Friday night (: Bless me with more luck that I will be safe and in one piece like always.

Was so happy that I got noodles in yummy soup filled with MSG goodness. Mami bought me that chicken mushroom flavoured mee. Was so excited to see OIL floating on the soup. Haha, cos when I was recuperating, didn’t had a drop of oil. Always boiled vegetables with rice. I gobbled my noodles and the rest of my dinner down super quickly.

look at the oil! (:
was super happy and satisfied (: until my stomach ached -.-

Tried making bread pudding today!
Went to AmagerCentret Fotex to get the ingredients. Was pretty fun looking for a preferred recipe online cos there were dozens and tarzens of them, all different styles. Got mine at myrecipes.com. pretty interesting website, can save the recipes you like. tasted cool (: not yummy enough tho ): could have been sweeter and more fragrant. thought it tasted quite plain towards the end. maybe some syrup could have saved that.

Had this damn horrible dinner just now ): Cos I substituted potatoes with Jerusalem artichoke roots. It’s damn GG. I bought them by accident cos i thought they were ginger. -.- searched online, and read the they can be cooked like potatoes, fry, boil steam. except that they are sweeter and crunchier than potatoes. i was like okay cool, so it should taste better.

Hell, no. It tasted horrible in my soup… there’s this bitter taste -.- Spoiled my soup… Made me add so much sugar and salt. And it ended up freaking horrigle. I’m gonna give away that bag of Jerusalem artichoke roots / Jokeskokker to others. No way am I finishing that. Yuck >.<

Mami got me to try cooking this ginger coke drink to remove like the “cold wind/han” from my body. It’s damn cool. Added a few slices of ginger to a cup of coke, boiled it. Woohoo, the drink is damn cool. I hate ginger but the coke musked the taste very well (:
Realised the interesting phenomenon… Western students are really expressive. They just like speak out their minds, whatever they are thinking about. Relevant or not relevant to the question, they still spit it out. But Singaporean students are straight to the point. Rigourously trained to “ANSWER THE QUESTION” aka “ATQ” (yes, you see it very often in history and SS or even Chem papers), we only speak points that are relevant to the requirements. Anything else, we leave to offline or jokes or random comments, which it is made known that it is random and has probably little contribution to the actual work. Not saying that any one of this is better. Just different styles. and how much you can tolerate the other (:

Met Martina for lunch and to mug for our tourism exam. Supposed to meet at 1230pm at her place but I was effectively one hour late. Cos clever me did not write down her street name and assumed that I knew the right stop to alight. Walked for almost an hour in the wrong direction. Got so exhausted walking in an unfamiliar neighbourhood, just for a plate of carbonara.
Haven’t really had such a pasta before. Eggs with parmesan cheese, yum yum!

Has been a long time since I mugged with a friend. (:

A student came to present on an initiative of his and his friends’. It was to make the universities’ timetable smarter and more convenient for students all over Denmark. It’s really quite awesome. Stuck me that most of us just know how to complain at systems we are in and comment that it is stupid blah blah… But how many of us do something about it? To improve our lives and the lives of others?
Had a slice of Margarita pizza with Martina at the place she recommended. It’s just plain tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese but it was so so tastyy. the salty taste is actually sweet at the end. man gonna love eating the authentic pizzas and pastas in Italy (:
Cooked for all five of us cos they had exams the next day (: quite a feat, considering that i only know how to make maggi-.-

Explored the other side of the city on my own on Sunday morning while in search of the nearest cheap supermarket (Fakta). Realised it was damn near our place and that area (within 3min walk) had 3 super markets? (Irma & Netto)
Had an asian feast at that area at night as well – Royal Garden. Our Once-in-a-month eat out affair together with Shaun’s bday.?Super awesome. Havent had so much gravy in my food for 6 weeks. The waitress was a Singaporean too!
The food was like zi char standard actually. Dont think it is as nice as resturants. But it was still good (:
